Dear visitor, welcome.

The following is a PORTFOLIO of a full stack web developer.

I'm Matteo Genovese!

I'm passionate about technology and innovation. With my experience in web development, I am able to create and implement engaging and user-friendly websites.

My experience includes both front-end and back-end technologies. In addition to creating responsive designs, I am able to make them mobile-friendly as well.

As a team player, I enjoy collaborating with designers, project managers, and other professionals to bring projects to life. I am also highly organized and detail-oriented, and I am able to identify and troubleshoot technical problems.
I'm always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.

The Technologies I use

I use several frameworks for app development.
These frameworks serve to simplify and speed up development, providing a solid and standardized base on which to build the application, as well as to ensure compatibility and code maintainability.

The frameworks still leave many opportunities for customization and adaptation to specific project requirements.
Programming languages are used to make these customizations, writing code that interfaces with the libraries and tools provided by the framework.

I develop user interfaces using HTML, CSS, Sass and Bootstrap. I create responsive layouts (adaptable to any device) and use Sass and Bootstrap for user interface styling.
Together, these tools are used to create and customize websites and applications.

I am able to create, and interact with databases through SQL queries and through Spring and Laravel which offer a simplified channel for communication with databases.
I use Git for version control and GitHub for collaboration.

My best projects

Totals : 8 projects
BoolBnb.png

BoolBnB

Boolbnb is a web project similar to Airbnb.
This web app allows users to search for apartments and contact owners, using search filters to find the perfect accommodation.
Owners can enter and edit information about their apartments, view received messages and view statistics, and promote the apartment with a subscription to increase visibility.

BoolFlix.png

BoolFlix

BoolFlix is a site similar to Netflix.
Users can search for movies and TV shows using a search string, but the results are not playable and instead provide information about the content in the form of rotating cards.
When the user accesses the site or the search bar is empty, the most popular content is displayed.
BoolFlix uses the API of themoviedb.org to get information about movies and TV shows.

CargoProject.png

Cargo Project

The project involved developing a web page using the JavaScript framework Vue.js CLI.
During the 3 days of this project, Vue components were used to create the page structure and manage the operating logic.
The props feature was also used to simulate data passing between components.
Additionally, Sass was used for managing styles and variables for different components, allowing for greater flexibility and maintainability of the code.

VueBoolZapp.png

BoolZapp

BoolZapp is a messaging application inspired by WhatsApp, created with the JavaScript framework Vue.js.
Among its features, users can search for other users, open individual chats, send and receive simulated messages.

DcComics.png

DcComics

The project involved creating a website inspired by the official website of DC Comics, which focused on comics.
Vue.js was used to create the user interface and manage the site logic.
Data was passed to various tabs using props, a feature of Vue.js that allows for passing information between components dinamically.

Dropbox.png

Dropbox

The project involved creating a static website inspired by the popular file storage and sharing service Dropbox.
HTML and CSS code was used to create a site with a similar design.

Playstation.png

Playstation

The project involved creating a static website inspired by the official website of the gaming platform PlayStation.
HTML and CSS code was used to create a site with a similar design.

SpotifyStatic.png

Spotify Web
